Dr Marius Louw

Marlize Burger

Hospital Assistant

From an early age Marlize knew that she wanted to work with and make a difference in the lives of animals.

Marlize has a wide-ranging veterinary experience and loves working in the Accuvet team.

She assists Dr Marius with radiographs, ultrasounds, surgery, dentals, bloodwork, medication, and with post operation monitoring of patients, alerting the doctors to problems that may arise.

Marlize is exceptional in working with aggressive animals.    With love, care, and tolerance, she can rehabilitate these animals by showing them they can trust her.

This is how she came to adopt Bosjan when he was rescued by Dr Marius.  Her tame ‘boy’ is now a joy to have around and is the light of Marlize’s life.

Marlize loves spending time with her family, teaches Sunday School classes and enjoys being out in nature – of course with young Bosjan in tow!
